N. Koster worked for six years as a surgical assistant at Haaglanden Medisch Centrum (HMC), before completing her Physician Assistant (PA) training cum laude at Utrecht University. She also completed the master Quality and Safety at Radboud University in Nijmegen. Besides working as a PA, she also works as the quality coordinator of UNCH and is the chairwoman of 'Vakgroep Neurochirurgie NAPA'.
